Vinted Members Voice Anger Regarding Size Changes
Vinted users have been reacting angrily after an update resulted in items being listed as the wrong size.
This online marketplace has altered its measurement guidelines for female and kids' apparel but did not contact every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show an altered size classification than originally posted as a result of the reclassification.
The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with other platforms.
They have suggested members to examine their items and manually change the size when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Measurement Approach Changes
Previously, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter with a size spectrum for example S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
User Experiences
A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
A different member, located in Scotland, said garments she listed featuring size 14 markings were appearing on the platform as measurements 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she explained.
Required Changes
A different user, located in England, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the measurements for "each individual item".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and platform income has been essential after experiencing income reduction," she said.
Platform Context
The service features exceeding 100 million members, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has emerged as a preferred choice compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion that an unexpected update on the platform has faced criticism: earlier, Vinted reversed a change to its shipping options due to shopper criticism.
