British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
